Claim the most important areas of the battlefield with a complete set of control zones and scenario objective markers. Claim the Battlefield contains 5 differently shaped zones and 7 separate flags that can be arranged freely to suit the chosen mission.
The dimensions of the zones were selected with Warmachine games in mind. The rectangular, oval and circular bases make controlled, contested or scoring areas clearly visible. The separate flags can represent mission objectives, captured positions, strategic locations or other important scenario points.
Dark, battle-damaged surfaces covered with craters, tracks and permanently attached pieces of battlefield debris create the appearance of a heavily contested war zone. The set works particularly well with fantasy, industrial fantasy, science-fiction, grimdark and post-apocalyptic battlefields.
This is a used terrain set and it may show light signs of previous play. It remains fully functional and ready for further games, with no assembly or painting required.
This is the last available set. The buyer will receive the exact items shown in the product photographs.

7 separate, movable flags.
The set contains 5 control zones and 7 flags, for a total of 12 separate pieces.
The barrels, crates, wheels, stones and other pieces of equipment found on the zones are permanently attached decorative elements.
2 rectangular zones: approximately 29 × 16cm each;
1 circular zone: approximately 30.5cm in diameter;
2 oval zones: approximately 18.5 × 15cm each;
HDF base thickness: approximately 4mm.
The dimensions refer to the maximum size of each base. Small variations may result from the handmade construction and finishing process.
The five zones provide clearly visible boundaries for controlled, contested and scoring areas. Their different shapes allow them to be positioned in open terrain or placed between buildings, ruins, forests and other battlefield obstacles.
The rectangular zones can represent extensive central areas, passages or sections of the battlefield that must be held. The circular zone is well suited to a primary scenario objective, ritual site, energy source or strategic centre. The smaller oval zones can be placed on the flanks or used as additional contested areas.
Seven separate flags can mark mission objectives, faction positions, captured locations, reinforcement points or other scenario features. Because they are not permanently attached to the zones, the flags can be repositioned and reused in many different layouts.
The permanently attached barrels, crates, wheels, stones and discarded equipment help distinguish the zones and give each one its own character. Their exact effect on gameplay can be agreed by the players according to the game system and scenario being used.
Dark grey, black and brown surfaces represent ground damaged by prolonged fighting. Craters, wheel tracks, discarded equipment and wreckage suggest a battlefield repeatedly crossed by advancing armies and war machines.
Rust-orange flags contrast clearly with the dark ground, making them easy to identify during play. Their worn, subdued colours also match industrial and war-torn terrain collections.
The neutral appearance allows the set to represent a devastated fantasy battlefield, industrial wasteland, contaminated planet, post-apocalyptic war zone or grim science-fiction landscape.
The surfaces are covered with three-dimensional textures representing uneven earth, craters, ruts and battlefield damage. Layered acrylic painting, washes and drybrushing emphasise the recesses, raised edges and smaller scenic details.
Barrels, crates, wheels, equipment fragments, stones and other debris are permanently fixed to the bases. The flags remain separate pieces and can be positioned independently from the zones.
The control-zone bases are made from 4mm HDF. The raised scenic details and flags are made from resin or plastic, depending on the individual component.
Every element has been assembled, textured and hand-painted with acrylic paints. The set is complete and requires no additional preparation before play.
